Believe it or not, but in most cases, it takes between 7 and 10 days for the police report to be ready. In the meantime, you can call your attorney (assuming you have one) and start working on your case. You don’t have to wait to get treated. This is something that should be done immediately after the incident. Delaying your treatment will be used against you by the other party’s insurance company. How? Well, it is pretty simple: If you don’t start your treatment immediately, the other party’s insurance company will use it as an argument that your injury was not serious at all since you apparently didn’t need immediate medical assistance. If you don’t have an attorney, Riverside car accident attorneys at JML Law are willing to help you win your case in a timely manner.
