What sets aside a successful entrepreneur from people that are not effective, whether in their own small business, or in a job? Looking externally, the entrepreneur is a normal, everyday person exactly like everyone else - that they need to eat, have a roof above their head, they've obligations, to themselves, their families, their communities.
They have their own idiosyncrasies, anxieties and challenges also, exactly like everyone. Yet, somehow they've obtained their energy, resources and talents and produced something extraordinary - a business which adds value to society, is rewarding, and with those companies and their lifestyles are leading a life of purpose, gains and passion.
Putting a normal person near the thriving entrepreneur, initially, you would not be able to tell them apart. Nevertheless these two proverbial examples will be doing drastically different things that lead them to substantially different results. To locate the reason, we'll have to examine the root cause of their actions, which is the mindset.
